The Protector® 30 kW Generac® diesel generator provides a safety net against blackouts by automatically switching on when the electrical utility goes down. It runs on diesel, which is easier to supply than natural gas or liquid propane, and unlike gasoline doesn't spoil after sitting without running. This commercial standby generator features Code Ready, a series of options that allow you to configure the generator however you need in order to meet local ordinances. The Evolution™ two-line LCD and controller feature backlit illumination so you can check the generator's status in the dark. This Generac standby generator's aluminum enclosure resists the elements to protect against rain, wind and sun. It also dampens the noise of the weekly test run so you and your neighbors can work or relax without being disturbed.
